Cherkasy hotels

Cherkassy is the administrative, economic, scientific and cultural centre of the Cherkassy region with a population of over 300 thousand. For the first time Cherkassy was mentioned in chronicles in 1394 when it was the town on the Dnepr river protected the southern boundary of Kyivskaya Rus from the invaders. There are two theatres, the Museum of Local Lore, the Arts Museum in Cherkassy.
